Lilly reporting for duty
Here's the start of the fifth series of the gritty crime-drama show, starring Kathryn Morris (pictured) as gritty detective Lilly Rush, who's determined to bring closure to some of Philly's long-unsolved cases.

The season-four finale saw Lilly fighting to survive a gunshot wound following a violent hostage situation. Tonight she's back at work, pretending everything's fine. But as Morris recently told Hollywood.com: "She's really not okay... she's going to start acting strange, she's going to be ordered to counselling by the boss and she's really not up for that".

As Lilly attempts to convince Lt John Stillman that she's ready to work, events rewind to 1994 - to the case of three fatally beaten boys, and a potential miscarriage of justice.

It's a strong season opener with a thumping soundtrack, courtesy of Nirvana.
