Max Beesley is Mitch Moore, a DJ with a charm that women can't resist. He hosts a late-night phone-in on London radio station, Life FM, dispensing glib and sometimes controversial solutions to callers' problems.

Women love him, and he knows it. All it takes is the twinkle in his eye and a flash of his winning smile to charm the women into his bed. But is there something missing from his life? Ultimately, he can't help himself when he's caught up in a tangled love triangle and falls in love with the one woman he really can't have, his best friend's fiancée, Claire (Laura Fraser).

Claire is preparing to marry Woody (Joseph Millson), Mitch's best friend and the producer of his radio show. Woody and Claire seem to have the perfect relationship, as they've been together for years and know each other inside out. But relationships are never plain sailing and Claire begins to question Woody's commitment and why it's taken him so long to propose.

In spite of her misgivings, the scene is set for the perfect wedding. Mitch will be Woody's Best Man and Claire's best friend Ally (Emma Pierson) is the Chief Bridesmaid. Ally is Mitch's latest conquest, so relations are understandably tense and they'd rather not be in the same room together let alone the same wedding. But then Claire and Mitch declare their feelings for one another and Woody gets cold feet. The question is, will Mitch be able to resist temptation or will he betray his best friend? And will Claire risk all, as after all Woody is the love of her life, isn't he?
